Method 2:
Try uninstalling and reinstalling Windows media player and check if it helps:
a. Click Start button, click Control Panel, click Programs, and then click Turn Windows features on or off. If you're prompted for an administrator password or confirmation, type in the password or provide confirmation.
b. Click on Media Features, Uncheck Windows media Player, and hit ok.
c. Restart the computer, follow the same procedure, and check Windows media Player.
